Positive Action Foundation Philippines, Inc. (PAFPI) is a national organization in the Philippines that is devoted into helping those persons living with HIV (PLHIV) and their families in coping with their situation involving the HIV/AIDS virus. PAFPI was formed in 1998 by persons living with HIV and uninfected persons with a view to empower persons with HIV and their families to live a normal, happy and productive life in the mainstream of supported society.
The Manila Social Hygiene Clinic (MSHC) is the arm of the Manila Health Department focusing on providing education, advocacy, referral, treatment, care and support to most at-risk populations (MARPs) and to interested individuals who would like to be tested for HIV and other sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
August 12, 2010 to August 11, 2011 has been proclaimed the International Year of Youth by the United Nations. For more details, visit: IYY
